Ford Recalls Vehicles with Particular Engines

Ford has called for the safety recall of nearly 1,300 vehicles with 3.5-liter GTDI engines to inspect and swap out leaking turbocharger oil supply tubes. Ford thinks the leaking turbocharger could result in the heightened risk of a fire, but the American car company is not aware of any accidents, injuries or fires linked with the issue.

2017 Ford Super Duty Truck Recall Explained

Ford says an estimated 8,000 2017 Ford Super Duty trucks must be looked over and inspected for a fuel tank strap reinforcement. If one is not installed, VonDerAu Ford will put one in for free as a provision against probable fuel leaks.

Affected vehicles include cars created from Aug. 10, 2016, to Sept. 17, 2016, at Kentucky Truck Plant.
